بَيْعَة ٱلرِّضْوَان

The Pledge of Ridwan took place under a tree at Hudaybiyyah, when the Companions pledged allegiance to the Prophet Hadrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam) ﷺ to fight until the end if needed. Allah declared His pleasure with those who gave this pledge in Surah al-Fath.

نُزُول آيَة ٱلْحِجَاب

The verse of Hijab was revealed (Surah al-Ahzab 33:53 and related verses), establishing the practice of modest covering for Muslim women. This is one of the important social legislations revealed during the Madinan period. Sayyiduna Hadrat Umar ibn al-Khattab (Radiyallahu Anhu) رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهُ had previously expressed his wish that such a commandment be revealed.

The passing of Sayyiduna Hadrat Sa'd ibn Mu'adh (Radiyallahu Anhu) رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهُ, chief of the Aws tribe and one of the greatest Ansar. He was wounded during the Battle of the Trench and died shortly after judging the case of Banu Qurayza. The Prophet Muhammad said: 'The Throne of the Most Merciful shook at the death of Hadrat Sa'd ibn Mu'adh (Radiyallahu Anhu) رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهُ.' (Sahih al-Bukhari). Seventy thousand angels attended his funeral.
